Help With my textures

Postby gwastudios » Wed Aug 04, 2010 3:11 pm

I know that this is a question on gaming; but, positioning the textures is somthing that everyone does. Can anyone help?

I need some Advice on the Positioning the ground texture for my game. From the point where I have my textures laid out at, it's set up at is:

Ground Sheet 1: [url] [url]

[url] [url]

I have them all laid out correctly (or as it seems). From there on I tried to place them onto my map editor as so:

Placement: [url] ... 9141_n.jpg [url]

Once I have them all laid out, I used my path system to layout ( yes, I no the path is crooked it was created quickly):

Path Layout: [url] [url]

What i'm trying to do correctly , is to have each ground texture show an appearence that they are laid on the the ground to give an offset appearence:

Take a look at elysian tail here as an example ( Pay attention closely as the grounds and how they are placed): Click here

Please help!!!

Let's fix the links. You don't need to include the url within brackets. Just post it straight out.

Ground Sheet 1: ... titled.jpg

Placement: ... 9141_n.jpg

Path Layout: ... 3746_n.jpg
