There's a crowdfunding effort on the way for Rusty Mills.

Rusty is a storyboard artist, animator and director in the Los Angeles animation community. A 25 year veteran of the biz and an Emmy Award winner for his work on the legendary "Pinky and the Brain" animated series from the 1990s. Very talented, well known, admired and respected by all.

Rusty has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and his medical bills are piling up fast. He had no symptoms and his condition has caught his family by surprise. You can help Rusty with this challenge by contributing to a special fund that's been established.

Here's the link.

Thank you folks, and good luck Rusty! AnimationNation is rooting for ya!

Rusty Mills passed on from this mortal life. He died just a couple hours ago at 12:20 PM today Pacific time.

A talented animator and a good man. Heard nothing but good things about him. Through my experiences with Rusty I can vouch for that. Goodbye to one of our own. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the fund to help his family with medical expenses associated with his illness. Still not too late to contribute.

Rusty Mills was a member of AnimationNation. Rest In Peace Rusty. Animate in Heaven Brother.
