I was wondering if I could get advice for improving my life drawing. I am doing these in an open class life drawing with no instruction. Sometimes I really struggle, then sometimes I do alright.

I have Glen Vilppu's first dvd, they are expensive! I have gotten advice from some really talented artists aswell. But I guess what I really need is a teacher behind me yelling at me when I do wrong! I don't know. :?

Hi Lavelle. As I scrolled through your blog I could see the improvement from the first figure drawings you were doing a few months ago. Your more recent ones show a lot more confidence and there's a style that's emerging. I'm a believer in taking the time to make a drawing the best it can be. The more deliberate you get with your sketches, the better you'll get with the more spontaneous ones.

Keep it up, you're doing fine work and it's gonna continue to advance.
