TV viewers in Australia are in luck as ABC3 has acquired the award winning animated series "Get Ace" by Galaxy Pop.



The deal continues a successful debut on Network TEN's Channel Eleven in Australia, where Get Ace took first place in animation ratings and quickly became one of the networks top performing shows. The new series follows the adventures of hapless geek Ace McDougal who, after being accidentally fitted with a pair of hi-tech super-spy braces, finds himself thrown into a world of espionage and adventure.



Get Ace is the latest creation from showrunners Gian Christian and Dina McPherson, the co-founders of Galaxy Pop. In addition to its growing fan base the series has just taken first prize for Best Animation at the Australian Writers Guild, AWGIE Awards.



9 Story Entertainment recently picked up worldwide distribution rights for the series excluding Australia and New Zealand. Get Ace is set to air later this year on ABC3.
