State of the animation nation?

You guys shouldn't be too discouraged. Things change, and the economics of animation have changed. Don't be too discouraged, just look a little harder. There's animation everywhere. Features aren't the only place, TV animation still
exists, in limited forms. Yes, the internet is really seeing an explosion of animation. Companies are soliciting content for their on-line station-sites. I freelance, doing all kinds of things. California, if that's where most of you guys are, is in unfortunately an over-saturated area in terms of feature and TV
animators. If you have access to the equipment,
do your own thing. Stranger things have happened.
