: Thanks for leaving this message. I'm the one who originally questioned what other work besides scripts was being sent to the US.

No, you said that writing wasn't work. That it was nothing.

:I didn't mean to insult Canadian writers by suggesting they were any less talented than American writers.

It's just that you said they were less talented. Openly. That it doesn't qualify as being part of the production work. Not worth anything. What was it Steve said about the anmount wasn't important ? It was the idea that it is American work ?

: My thinking was that they may have been looking for writers with extensive experience in television.

Which there are none in Canada right ? I wonder why ? Could at be that all Canadian TV and Film is dominated by the US. That no one in Canada can get a writing job in Canada ? So not only did it rip off the taxpayer but it screwed Canadian writers out of work. Sorry if I'm making you feel like an idiot. Really, sorry.

: My question was responded to by someone who became upset at this and assumed the name I left the message under. All I wanted to know was whether any work other than scripts was sent to the US. Thanks for offering an explanation.

And we are thankful that you are thankful because after all you are so sensative and caring. Really.
