Tomorrow is both the big meeting & my wedding anniversary, but I will attend due to my belief that the future of this art hangs in the balance, and the next move is up to us (if it is to survive.) I have joined a group that addresses the issue of encouraging companies(large & small) to use LA-based labor. Unless you already have volunteers chosen to address this topic, I would like to inform the group of some strategies FTAC (Film & Television Action Committee) have been implementing to stem the tide of all entertainment outsourcing to foreign countries.
