Part of the intention of the April 3rd meeting is to give yourself a day off. If disappearing from your desk for the better part of an afternoon is a concern of yours as far as your relationship with your employer, I suggest that you make appropriate arrangements. Take a personal day off, or use some comp time if you've got it coming. If you're not currently working as a 9 to 5er, take advantage of your flexible schedule.
Make sure that you get something to eat beforehand as food will not be served. At least not this year. There will be coffee and tea.
The Empire Room is open and spacious. The ambience is elegant, yet professional. You'll enjoy the atmosphere.
If you have material that you'd like to pass out, such as flyers for your organization or web site, feel free to bring them along to distribute as long as they relate to animation.
If there's an issue that you would like to bring to the attention of the animation community, this is your chance to do it.
If you provide a production service and would like to reach out to more animation artists, stop by and tell us what you do. Printed material to pass will be helpful.
There's no charge for admission and parking is free.
