Dear potential animation partner!

My company, Convenient Media, is looking to talk with potential partners with the goal of animating some the comedy that my comedy duo, "Joe's Convenience" (Comedy Central, Comedy Network, COMICS! CBC Radio, Fashion Television, Much Music etc.) has created over the past number of years.

The material consists of sketches, songs, intersticials, radio plays and parodies and totals literally hundreds and hundreds of minutes.

Our desire to find like minds to animate this material comes from our love for animation, and the belief that our content is ideally suited for animation. Our comedy is edgy to begin with, and the idea of using animation simply opens many news doors to us. We strongly believe our material would be extremely well received on the net (possibly later on TV) just as it has in countless live shows, radio bits and studio performances.

Another reason we wish to explore this animation co-pro venture is that we have already experienced two option deals for live action TV shows of our own and have both times ended up frustrated and disappointed. Budget, concept, and our "edgy-ness" have all played a part. Popularity and writing have never been an issue. ("They're not just the best thing in Toronto, Joe's Convenience is the best thing going in Canada!" - Toronto Star.)

At this point in the web's development I am highly aware of the need for GOOD content, and above all else, I believe I know how to create very funny, very witty and very edgy comedy. Whether we are creating hundreds of individual "bits" to be animated, or working with a team on a weekly/monthly animation series - we have the content that people want and need.

We are writers, comedians, actors and directors. We are not artists or animators, and that is why we are seeking those talents. We believe that we can find people who can fill these positions, and that together we can create THE comedy animation buzz on the internet.

If you feel like there may be some synergy between your company and ours, I would enjoy discuss things further - either in person or via phone. We currently live in LA, so depending on your location we may be able to connect in person. Obviously, we will gladly supply you with demo material, scripts and video of past work to give you a sense of who we are and what we have to offer.

Thanks, and I DO look forward to speaking.

Sincerely,
Ben Brooks
CEO Convenient Media
