Good Animators Needed in Chicago

Hey, StarToons needs help.

The truth of the matter is, our workload is solid until September. As everybody in this industry knows, there are no guarantees in this biz, and when it means packing up for Chicago, that might make it seem even riskier.

Be that as it may, we need good, productive animators. We pay bonus by the widget (16 frames = 1 foot), above and beyond a base salary if you beat your quota. Lots of you will read this and decide you won't touch it with a ten-foot pole. We're looking for the other ones.

Earnings vary by skill. An analysis of our 9 in-house animators shows the top four making an average of $1483.30 per week, and the other five making an average of $767.40 per week. So the better you are, the better you'll do.

Naturally it's our intention to use your skill to build the reputation and capacity of our studio. As the studio opportunities grow, so do yours. We're an open shop, with medical benefits and a vacation plan based on your hours worked.

If you want to insult me about what we're offering, feel free to use this board.

However, if you think you have what it takes and are interested in employment with an animator-owned studio trying to revive the domestic end of an industry that sends 99.9% of its work overseas, I look forward to seeing your demo reel and/or anything you're proud of, sent to one of the addresses below:

Charles, I assume this is an OK thing to post. If not, delete it. Thanks.
