: I totally agree with you, but based on KNOWING for a fact that they are idiots and we don't have the power to displace them, we have to look at new ways of getting around them. So tell me if you were an exec - even a good one - and you had heard about the reputation of artists, what would you do? Undoubtedly YOU would investigate the situation and open up the dialogue, but that's because you're Snakebite. These guys might need a little more "help" to arrive at the proper solutions. How do we get the proper solutions in front of them?
Well first and foremost, the internet is the way to get around them, don't you agree, and as far as the proper solution being presented to them, THAT has been done over and over again and they're blinded by that "woman they wouldn't kick out of bed"...money that is.
I have a theory, if you hire someone for a particular job duty you let that person perform and if you have a problem or question about the quality of their job tasks you don't go behind their backs to do it your way, you get together with them and try to solve the problem... discuss it if you will...and you don't have to be Snakebite to do such things, although I will admit it helps...and as far as pay cuts are concerned, a good leader would turn down his/her meal ticket if the rest of the troops were'nt gettin any, besides if your team ain't fed you're gonna loose eventially.
Although I do think there are inherently evil individuals in this industry, thats very apparent in life in general, the rest has been misguided and I 'll tell you one thing I'll listen to the guy thats doin' it for chit money, cuz he/she loves what their doin, for solutions before I'll listen to the guy thats obviously doin' it just for the cash and has no love for the art form or the people he/she has employed...makes sense, don't it ?
