Now does this mean that all business execs hate what they do and are only in it for the money? OR do they love what they do to us, making us hate them yet getting what they want from us for as cheap as possible?
Are there any honest to goodness execs out there reading this for an answer. I know I'm asking for a bit much looking for an "honest" one.
Why don't we all start taking business classes and learn how to fend for ourselves and toughen up and learn their ways so we can bear them at their own game. They can't stop us can they? That way we can still love our jobs and learn how to manipulate THEM. I wonder if there are any former college business teachers who've left the dark side (Harvard MBA's and the like) and will come see our side and teach us what was taught them.
Either that or we all go out and start hating our jobs. Or at least look like you hate it. Put on your mean face Snakey.
: Sick as it may sound, I'm afraid The Snake Man has nailed it.
: As for me, I can't hate my work - I love animating. But when I showed utter contempt for my employer - back when I was young & foolish, I would just quit my job, not even knowing where I would go next - that's when they would come chasing me and offer me more money.
: I wish it weren't so, but it is.
: But right now we need to look at other possible solutions. Businessmen need to minimize costs to maximize profits. A penny saved really IS a penny earned. That's where they're coming from, and it's legitimate. And we can deal with that, too.
