You're talking about content and I think almost everybody reading this would agree - except for your assessment of Disney's series work, which, content-wise, ALSO sucks.

No arguments that Disney knows how to make a great feature films.

I am assuming you hold great admiration for the content of foreign - like the terrific drama of Pokemon or Dragonball Z ... or is it Maya the Bee that floats your boat?

In the mean time, American animators need to be ready to do a good job, despite the shortcomings of American development departments and/or the writers.
