Ok. Lets see if I can clear up a few things.
On Warners closing.
Yes, they may close. That was always a possibility from day one as they we getting into something they had no idea they had no experience in. The illusion that TV or that Warners of the past was enough background led them to make these false assumptions. Here is something you should know though, they are learning. Yup , scary as it may seem. The company has just has an absolute taste of what unanimous critical praise feels like. Of what creating something (painfully, as nothing worth doing is that easy) special. For all the pain and insults of the past, these things are soon forgotten being bathed in the universal love of even just critical success. The heroin is in the bloodstream.
On the tampering with Osmosis. Yes, there was some pushing around but what you should know is that the directors of "Something About Mary" have signed to do the live with Bill Murry and they have made it clear they love animation. Not like, love. At first people thought this was threatening to Tom and Pete as they had a ton of ideas but in truth it does is give Tom and Pete artistic allies. POWERFUL ARTISTIC ALLIES . Who else could fight changes of the lot. The film is set, the tweaks begin and the future looks damn fine.
On the slams about the first reels.
This is silly. The first reels were GREAT and totally understandable. It only needed a few trims to pick up the slower parts. I loved it and I had not worked on it at that point I had no problem understanding it at all. Very funny.
