As do I. "Quest for Camelot" and "Space Jam" were prime example. Toys first, marketing second, movie last. Funny, Warners thought they were creating a "new" studio, but fact is, most of the people who work there have worked on and off throughout the industry together for MANY years. And collectively, they have mounds of practical and professional experiance that could have been a great help to them. Thank god for Brad Bird, but before that--the frustrations of the artists willing to help but told to do "their job" while management took charge showed onscreen. "Iron Giant" rules--not just because Mr. Bird has strong story instincts, but also because none of the former management was THERE when he made the film! Where are they NOW?????
