I've been working with Macromedia Director for 4 years now, and it was originally intended to be an animation program. It in-betweens, layers, resizes, loops, and outputs to .avi and Shockwave plus whatever else you can plug/script it to.
The Big Problem of course, is getting all the artwork into the program. It is time consuming to scan line art - not to mention editing(a la Photoshop)and converting the finished piece to the appropriate output medium.
Director is a fantastic vector animator - a breeze to work with. Has anyone had any luck with a program that does "as well"( i use the term loosely)with raster???
Does anyone know the best method to capture, edit, sequence and output line art?
Is there a better approach to this?????!!!
