Hmm. Jessie. Do you think what Chris Rock is speaking is ebonics ? Is that what you hear ? Hmmm. Quebec has it's own form of ebonics. Anglosized french. Most people from France have a hard time understanding it at all. Cultures that cannot (or are not allowed to ) particpate in the main culture tend to develop their own slang. It is just historical fact. Even so, Chris is totally understandable and I've never learned ebonics.
