Wowee, what a board!! Charles, you got guts to post this, I
must say. There's no doubt that the industry is suffering
right now, when it shouldn't be. I always thought that it should
be mandatory that an executive has to take a class on animation
before they make any major decisions regarding the medium. Dreaming,
I know, but we all have our ways of keeping our sanity.

Dave Brewster made a point that not all executives are evil, and I'd
like to say that the execs who actually *talk and deal* with artists are less
likely to be perpetuating the negative aspects that is currently spreading
within the industry. Unfortunately, I don't see how we can get rid of the ignorant
execs without slitting our own throat to a certain extent. No matter what we say, the
execs are still part of the distribution system to the public. The only studio that
seems to be combating this is Spumco, with their webpage animations.

I hope more artists see this page, and make more comments to it.
