:Jon, I wasn't implying that you hire a bunch of Flunkies to do executive work. Walt Disney had his brother Roy working the financial side of the operation. Here you had two distinct sides of the company, the creative (walt) and the business end (Roy), and because there was a balance, they co-existed for the good of the company. The problem with many of these studios today is that you don't have that balance of power, and people who should be administering studio operations miraculously become 'Creative'.
In big companies like Disney and Warners, the sub-divisions operations is definitely dictated by the business side, and there is no balance. That's the problem that many artists have to deal with on a day to day basis.
