Remember Ireland Kev, all the Americans were there early and left late. The average hours were 9 to 8. If I had to go home early (5:30 because all the grocery stores closed at 6) Gary used to kid me by saying “Going home? Half day huh ”. Workers here aren’t lazy, their economy is different (it costs at mininmum $250,000 for a shack in LA). It’s time people stop blaming them for it. I for one am tired of it.
Ah yes, the old sod. The good old days, when I spent as much time as I could in your office with Wendy and Tom and either the Danes or Alain. I learned a lot. Remember it wasn’t paid o.t. either for those movies. I still have drawings you gave me too. We shopped for groceries practically every day. What with those half sized ’frigs and all.
