: Frank Clampett & Horace Jones were professional chimney-sweeps in our hometown in the Catskill Mountains. Every year, we'd have the Catskill Ladies' Auxiliary Art Festival. It became a tradition that the winner of the contest would have his/her work displayed from the roof of the tallest building in town, and these two chimney sweeps would be the guys who put it up on display.
: So whenever you appreciated someone's artwork, it became traditional to say, "Your work is up there with Clampett & Jones."
