I'm willing to give round 2 a go if everyone else is.
I need your suggestions. The first one was unique. April 1, 1999 can't be duplicated, but we can build on it. The meeting was held during working hours as a protest, a show of unity and an exercise in defiance. People have suggested having the second one in the evening when more people would be free to attend. What do you think? All opinions are welcome and very helpful.
As for myself, I like the idea of having it during working hours. It makes the event that much more significant.
The Empire Room at the Sportsmen's Lodge was a great place for something like this, but it was expensive. There will have to be refreshments for everyone and that costs money too. If a large group of artists showed up and they each kicked in a couple of bucks, we could pull it off.
Getting the word out won't be as much of a problem, but we'll need the participating of many people. Are you up for it?
