I pitched a show to Jean Maccurdy a little over a year ago. She responded that the project was exactly what they were looking for and that it couldn't have come at a better time, yada yada. She said she was forwarding it to Jamie Kellner and I would hear back from her within two weeks. Two week came and went, no word. Subsequently she wouldn't even deign to return my calls. I found out through the grape vine, they Warner was only seriously interested in pre-sold shows-- that is, shows based on comics, cartoon strips, something that already had a proven audience. And that empty time slot? It ended up being filled by Tom Ruegger's Hysteria. Tom being the only exception to the "we're only interested in pre-sold concepts". Oh well, back to the drawing board.
