This past June 21, I posted an AN homepage appeal on behalf of The Animation Academy in Burbank and its efforts to reach 250 Facebook votes in order to qualify for submission to the Mission Small Business Program sponsored by Chase Bank and LivingSocial.
The voting ended last night and the results were very exciting, impressive and encouraging for the Academy as the school swept from 5th place to 3rd place in the last day of voting for the Burbank community businesses registered in the program! With 85 registered businesses in Burbank, the Academy wound up in 3rd place with 420 Facebook votes! Good enough for the bronze medal! In a city which is a worldwide media center and the international capital of the animation industry, this is a great result. Very few businesses nationwide received more than 400 votes and the Academy is one of only two businesses in America with the buying viagra without prescription word "animation" in their name that qualified.
Mission Small Business will be awarding twelve $250,000 grants to businesses that have qualified through voting and india viagra generic also through their application materials. The grant recipients will be announced by September 15, 2012. Whatever the review board decides, The Animation Academy has proven itself a standout community in Burbank thanks to everyone who voted! Thank you for your tremendous support!
