If you're looking for a position in animation worthy of your great skills and you're not aware of CreativeHeads.net, make it a point of registering on their site. They have many job openings listed at top studios and companies throughout the industry. For example, here's a position at Aardman in the UK for a Senior Compositor. There's several positions available at video game developer Potential Dynamics in Naples, Florida. Go to CreativeHeads.net and you'll get an idea of just how many high end studios are looking for first rate talent.
CreativeHeads, Inc. is located in Hermosa Beach, California. We've been publishing notices from them for years on the AN Forums. If you're looking to see what else is happening in animation that would involve employment, seminars, showcasing your work, support services, or learning something new concerning the industry, keep an eye on AN's Business Forum. That's where we post whatever comes our way that would be beneficial and of interest to the community along those lines. |

It's a good day to celebrate when Wacom comes out with a new Cintiq. Their latest model, the 24HD, offers new features such as a 24″ display (1920 x 1200 resolution), a 92% Adobe RGB color gamut, a wide viewing angle, and an adjustable stand for hours of comfortable and productive use, plus more according to the company. At $2499 US, it's a bit pricey, but well worth it I'm sure if it's right for you. Check out the video below. You can also get more information through Wacom at this link. The topic on the AN Forums can be found here.

At least that's how I see it. In some cases it even surpasses what's happening in mainstream animation. Take for example this trailer for the upcoming video game 'Wildstar' from Carbine Studios. It's an incredible and very impressive project judging from the clip. From concept design to production design to animation to cinematography, It's very obvious just how far things have progressed in the gaming sector of the art. I'm building the topic on the Forums with more examples of excellence in video game visuals. Meanwhile check out Wildstar...

This video is a trip, I'm sure you'll agree once you've seen it. It's an amazing approach to animation and I was at a loss to figure out how it works when I first saw it. Follow this link to the Forums for an explanation.
