Many years before Pixar featured a similar theme  in "Up" the great Winsor McCay, perhaps the www.gorarocka.si greatest animator who ever lived, was having fun portraying pretty much the same thing in 1921 with his incredible film "The Flying House".

I've never seen this work of his before until a chance viewing on YouTube today and decided to elfinsaddle.com share it with the AN community. It's a remarkable achievement even in our own time. The level of craftsmanship involved especially considering where animation was at technically 91 years ago makes this an even more astonishing artistic accomplishment.

Thanks to a Kickstarter campaign initiated by Bill Plympton last year McCay's masterpiece has been restored and is now available for all to see, experience, ponder and enjoy... in color and with voices! You can buy the DVD through Mr. Plympton's site at this link. Meanwhile take a look at what Winsor McCay was doing at a time when the art of celoxmedical.com animation was still a toddler in diapers...

Thanks to long time ANer Greg Boone for bringing this to our attention.

The Hero Initiative creates a financial safety net for comic creators who may need emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life, and an avenue back into paying work. Since inception, the Hero Initiative has been fortunate enough to benefit over 50 creators and their families with over $500,000 worth of much-needed aid, fueled by your contributions! It's a chance for all of us to give back something to the people who have given us so much enjoyment.

This is cost cialis something we could certainly use in the animation industry especially in the US. An organization / program  that operates as a safety net for the www.ameba.eu many artists, indeed the vast number of artists that work outside of the union studios. Even unionized artists could benefit from something like this since many of them lose their medical coverage when they work outside of union shops for a length of cheap prices for levitra 20mg time or when they lose their union studio employment. I've pushed for an Independent Animation Union for many years through AN to this effect with no help from our current union which has been hostile to tramadol online online us for a long time. Their outdated and narrow model of operation along with their animosity to the AN Movement has kept them from growing in a direction that could make a huge difference in the lives of the artists in our community.

Fortunately we have the Hero Initiative to look to for inspiration and only best offers generic cialis tadalafil hope that things can improve for artist when we unify and take matters into our own hands. Kudos to everyone involved with this noble, worthwhile and much needed effort.

Please consider supporting the Hero Initiative. Take a look at the video to get a better understanding of what it does. You can also visit the Forum topic to see what Greg Boone has to www.ospesnica.si say about it and to follow the prices on levitra pills discussion.
