'Zey The Mouse' - Episode 1 - Ian Harding

I would like to share with you a special project that ANer Ian Harding of the UK has been working on for a long time. He's been sharing his progress with us on the Forums for quite a while now and I'm happy to report that he's finally finished the first episode of "Zey The Mouse" entitled "Flying a Kite". It's a stop motion animation project that he created by hand. Every aspect of the film was meticulously built with attention to the finest details. It took Ian 10 months of hard work including 3 months of filming. You can see more of Ian's work on his YouTube channel. 'Strange Fruit' - Shimi Asresay & Hili Noy

The title beckons memories of the song made famous by Billie Holiday. This animated short by Shimi Asresay and Hili Noy is their graduation project at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. The original soundtrack is by Itai Argaman with sound effects by Ohad Zrihen. It's a haunting story of a different color. Check out their contemplative film "Strange Fruit"...

Chance Raspberry's 'XTALK'

A few years ago in 2011 good friend and AN stalwart Chance Raspberry of "The Simpsons" and "Little Billy" fame worked with a colleague to produce a Flash animated concept pilot entitled "XTALK".

The idea involved an original, animated web-series starring three unlikely friends who've never met in person but are united online by the power of XBox Live. In the pilot episode, the gang finds themselves mired deep in a parody of the "Double Rainbow" video from YouTube. The numerous products you see in the settings are part of a product placement campaign which the XTALK creators used to entice sponsors.

This is the first time the video's been featured publicly. Chance co-developed and designed the project and animated it singlehandedly...
