Legendary Executive Producer from Disney Studios, Don Hahn, has been working for the past year with Emmy Award winning director Michael Brown on a documentary called "High Ground".
The film is the incredible story of a band of wounded US veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan who set out to climb one of the tallest peaks in the Himalaya in an attempt to heal the emotional and physical wounds of war.
High Ground won the coveted Audience Choice awards at the recent Vail and Boulder Film Festivals and makes its west coast premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival on April 29, 2012.

I brought this topic up last summer, and ANer Ari who goes by Bloodwind on the Forums started a topic on the same subject.
North Korea has a long tradition of producing quality animation. Although almost all of it is wrapped in political propaganda, it is none the less very fine work that I'm happy to bring to a wider awareness by featuring it here on AN's homepage. This topic is being developed with more North Korean animation and you're welcome to follow it here. Meanwhile, let's take a look at what Bloodwind brought to our attention. There's no translation or subtitles available and I don't know when it was made, but the quality of animation can still be appreciated as well as the message that the regime is trying to convey.

Here's a video I discovered recently that went online a couple of years ago and is well worth sharing as it gives us a good look inside Pixar's studio, including John Lasseter's office and a glimpse at their swimming pool and volleyball court. It's from CNN and was taped when Pixar was producing 'Up'.
