'Eclipse' - Gobelins

It's time for a French animation fix on AnimationNation. Here's a fine film to feature. It's an other worldly experience entitled "Eclipse" and hails from the great talents at Gobelins, a premier program for excellence in animation training. The software used is TVPaint which also  originates from France. Excellent production software for traditional hand drawn animation.

'Caldera' - Evan Viera

Bruce Timm steps down at WB - End of an Era

My first staff job in the animation industry was at Filmation Studios in 1982 just before the original He-Man TV series went into development. And the first artist I shared office space with was Bruce Timm.

It was immediately evident to me and everyone else what a brilliant artist he is. We worked on many projects together throughout the 1980s. I enjoyed a great friendship and camaraderie with him and have lots of good memories of that time. He is a one of a kind talent who's that much more extraordinary considering he never had a formal art education. 

Bruce since went on to cialis overnite redefine the levitra sales action adventure cartoon at Warner Bros in the early 1990s with "Batman" and "Superman" and "Justice League" and "Batman Beyond" and many other comic based properties that became hugely successful animated franchises for WB. 

News came to us today through ANer hoofprints (Paul Burrows) in the Forum topic he posted that Bruce Timm has left stepped down as Supervising Producer at Warners.
