I'm sure many people have heard by now that the greatest stop motion animator of all time passed away this week on May 7 2013 a few weeks short of his 93rd birthday. I looked for a video that would honor the memory of Ray Harryhausen and the works he created throughout his career in motion pictures. Here's one of particular interest from the SonyMovieChannel on YouTube.
I along with my colleagues and fans around the world have been hugely influenced by the fantastic works of Ray Harryhausen. His movies were a big part of our childhood motion picture memories. His artistic legacy will endure for all time.

I learned some interesting information about coffee as a result of this video. A very creative way of getting the message across. "Coffee Propaganda" is the work of Hyunji Aj Bae of the renowned Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. The film was produced in collaboration with Janice Ahn, Yoon Sun Lee and Zach Eastburg. There's a making of website to enjoy as well.

This film has completed its worldwide festival run and came up with over 20 awards including no less than 13 winners, 2 second place awards and an award of merit. It's from Luke Randall who hails from Australia and is based in Los Angeles working on several DreamWorks feature films since 2007 and is an instructor at iAnimate.net. He used rigs supplied by Animation Mentor to animate part of the film. Enjoy your viewing of "Reach"...
