The animator is Marie Vieillevie. She also maintains a blog of her interesting work. This video was produced at La Poudriere in Valence. A school which specializes in master training for animation artists looking to be directors. Marie is currently working in Paris.

'Sideshow' - SVAD Southern Adventist University

Take a look at this impressive and touching video. It's a Collaborative Studio project from the School of Visual Art and Design at Southern Adventist University in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Quality animated content is not something exclusive to the major studios any longer. Artists everywhere are utilizing production resources to create original content in a wide variety of forms especially at the school level as can be seen in "Sideshow".

Animator discovers Lincoln photo Gettysburg 1863

It's not every day that the national news features an animator discovering something of profound historic significance for America but that's the case today. in his research at the University of discount cialis india North Carolina-Asheville instructor  Christopher Oakley found an image in a rare photo taken at Gettysburg just before Abraham Lincoln gave his famous speech. It appears that one of the figures in that photo is none other than Abraham Lincoln himself. Ironically it was 150 years ago this summer that the famous battle took place.
