There's interesting things happening in Africa as the animation scene is developing there. The Artfield Institute of Design specializes in animation, web development, architectural visualization, photography and graphic design. Next year in July 2013 they will be hosting their second animation expo in Uganda and are currently seeking sponsorships.
The Uganda Animation Festival and Expo is targeting Ugandan and East African youth to develop as professional animators so they may experience a brighter future.
