Thought I'd back up this great video with some fun stuff from the past.

The future that never was. Except for being outfitted with a phone.

Take a look at how people in the 1930s saw what clothing would be like by the year 2000. That was 12 years ago! Yesterday's future is today's past...

More videos of what people thought the future would bring. These are from the not so distant past as compared to the 1920s and 30s.


This first video is from the late 1960s and correctly projects worldwide video based telecommunications although not exactly as it would turn out but a pretty darn good guess none the less.




The second one is from 1980 and we can see the emergence of the Internet and a widely expanded television and video game industry.
