Japanese Animation

Postby Bloodwind » Tue Apr 17, 2012 4:13 pm

Hello everyone! I wanted to ask if anyone knew much about Japanese animation. I have been studying animation in general for a few months; but, I am a huge fan of Japanese anime. I am looking for a particular animation style in general, Hayao Miyazak. I know his style is similar with Disney's so that is the closest to his style but I enjoy the anime style feel his has.

To put it in a more understanding way, two of my favorite animation cartoons of all time was Lion King and Spirited away.

Japanese animation is very good. Hayao Miyazaki is great (personal favorites from him include Porco Rosso and Ponyo). Shinichiro Watanabe is an honorable mention.
