Testing ball bouncing animationI was working on a ball bouncing animation. It was just practice but I would enjoy it if I gotten some critique.

So basically you can approach the bouncing ball two ways: Animate straight ahead or keyframe. It looks like this was done straight ahead. I would try a standard bouncing ball instead of the cannon ball that you have now. You may want to actually bounce a ball across a room to see how it arcs and what the timing looks like. Also notice how different balls bounce and consider the kind of weight that it has. I generally like to draw a path for things that move like this so they feel smooth as well as keyframing it to get the spacing between drawings correct.

Sounds good, I was drawing in an animate straight method. It was more along the lines of me trying to get used to drawing graphically more than traditionally (Though I was trying to get a more traditional style feel). Video games, illustration and Animation is my life. I can't see myself with out them.
