Satoshi Kon, MILLENNIUM ACTRESS director, dead at 47

Animation Mag has reported this morning a confirmation of Kon's death at 47, and cause of death has not yet been given.

I've been watching this guy's films for, like, a decade--maybe longer. Kind of in a state of shock to learn this, and look! He was reportedly only 47!

Sounds like some sort of cruel joke . . .
