Take a look at the trailer for the upcoming live action 3D animation feature film remake of the classic TV cartoon from the early 60s.

Dan Aykroyd is Yogi's voice, Justin Timberlake does the honors with Boo Boo.

I'm not excited about this at all. From a designer's standpoint, they took all the appeal out of the characters. Ed Benedict is rolling over in his grave.

...and I REALLY dislike Yogi's voice...but Daws Butler is a hard act to follow.

Got that Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 feeling about this. And that's not a good sign at all.

At least (I'm likely alone in thinking this, and I'm only half-kidding) his (and Boo Boo's) fur gets a passing grade from me. Hey, I had to find something to praise about this version of Yogi!
