Animated music videos to enjoyI wonder what kind of music I would choose to listen to if I was growing up today. Maybe it wouldn't be too different than the music I listen to now.
I think I'd get into this. 'Young Folks' by Peter, Bjorn & John with vocals by Victoria Bergsman of The Concretes. I think they're a Swedish group. This video has been on YouTube for several years, from as far back as August, 2006. It's had 20,570,589 views since then.
Re: Animated music videos to enjoySpeaking of The Concretes, here's a song of theirs animated as a music video. I can get into this.
"You Can't Hurry Love"... Not to be mistaken for hit with the same title by The Supremes in the 1960s. Same title, different song...
Re: Animated music videos to enjoyMusic videos have always been an area of animation where creative exploration gets a chance to take off like a space ship.
Just like The Campesinos who confess that it's "You! Me! Dancing!"...
Re: Animated music videos to enjoyWe must be in a golden age of some kind for Scandanavian pop rock.
This is Architecture in Helsinki with 'The Owls Go'. It's not the official animated video of the song, but rather something that an individual did because they liked it, which makes it all the more special since they did a great job with it. The video was my undergraduate thesis project, completed it in four months using Adobe After Effect and Adobe Illustration programs. It won The Outstanding Student of the Year Award2009 from the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design, Birmingham City University, in the UK.
Re: Animated music videos to enjoyAnother one from Architecture In Helsinki.
Do the Whirlwind...
Re: Animated music videos to enjoyThey say if you Eatliz you'll live longer.
I find that Attractive...
Re: Animated music videos to enjoyThis one's different. I like the song too.
'Fireworks' from The Whitest Boy Alive circa 2006...
Re: Animated music videos to enjoyI like this group.
The Cribs in "Don't You Wanna Be Relevant?" I like them enough to feature a second video from them. How often do you get to see a naked girl dancing around a partially animated music video with black out bars over her strategic targets. "Men's Needs"
