Wagner's "Seigfried" - Animated TrailerCheck out this video and prepare to be blown away by the quality of the production. Traditional, hand drawn animation no less.
I was hanging out with friends this afternoon and among the group was a professional musician who tours with Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast' live theatrical ensemble. We started talking about classical music and when I brought up the German composer Wagner, he referred me to this video. I don't know much about it except that it's a trailer for a film based upon Wagner's opera "Seigfreid". It was animated by Pendragon Imageworks. It's astoundingly good. Watch it and you'll see what I'm talking about.
Re: Wagner's "Seigfried" - Animated TrailerI think this animated trailer was created to promote a graphic novel. I hope I'm wrong, cause it looks like it would be an awesome film. I believe this guy is the principle artist:http://alexaliceblog.blogspot.com/
Re: Wagner's "Seigfried" - Animated TrailerThanks for that link Josh. Inspiring work from a very talented artist. Whoverer was involved with the Seigfried trailer, they did an absolutely masterful job.
