ToonGoggles.com - A new site for featuring your contentI had an interesting conversation yesterday with a fellow from a new animation content site called ToonGoggles.com.
Here's the story... .......... ToonGoggles http://www.ToonGoggles.com is an online children’s entertainment channel where kids can watch hundreds and thousands of cartoons for free, as well as soon play hundreds of games as well. We offer right’s holders and animators the chance to place their animation (for free) in front of kids, parents, and networks eyes and receive full data metrics based off that. Anyone that places their animation on ToonGoggles will be able to see full data metrics within their profile including the demographics watching their content, the bounce rate, if kids are sharing it with their friends, and much more. We have six different categories right now — Boys, Girls, Action, Comedy, Pre-School, and Educational — and will soon have a games tab that will take them to hundreds of games. In September we will be beginning our extensive advertising campaign that will include cartoonnetwork.com, lifetimemoms.com, miniclip.com, shockwave.com, and more. We will be having booths in September at the Ottawa Animation Festival, as well as in October at MipCom in France. We accept new and old animation, as well as clips, trailers, full episodes, shorts, and features. We accept animation in English, Spanish, French, and Chinese too, and soon will allow for all languages. ToonGoggles is a great place to test market new cartoons, as well as reinvigorate interest in old animation. For students in art/animation institutes, ToonGoggles can be the first place for them to place their animation and get full metrics on how people react to it, as well as have it viewed by kids, parents, networks, other students, and more. Kids will be able to share cartoons with their friends, save cartoons to their “Toon Strip,” (a favorites area that can store up to 100 different episodes with the order being able to be rearranged), create an avatar, and more. We will have our official launch in September, 2011 and in the following months many updates and newly added functionality will arise on ToonGoggles. Our goal is to allow rights holders, animators, and students the chance to showcase their animation in front of children, and use this to create interest for networks.
