Fleischer Studios "Gulliver's Travels" 1939

Postby Charles » Mon Jun 14, 2010 9:03 am

To celebrate the launch of the new AnimationNation Forums, and to highlight the new features we're now able to utilize, I thought about what animated content I would showcase as my first post along those lines. Greg B in the old forums recently mentioned "Gulliver's Travels" and it brought to mind how influential this movie had been on me as a youngster, and I thought it would be fitting to be the first full film on the new AN Forums.

Since it's been posted in parts on YouTube, we can now do the same thing here by embedding the video.

As I experiment with the new forum technology, it appears at least for the time being that we're not able to embed more than one YouTube video per post, so I'll be posting the subsequent parts of the film in follows ups to the original post.

So here's the 1939 classic from the Fleischer Studios, the second animated feature ever released.

The image on my previous post was uploaded directly from my computer to the forum page. There's no need to host an image on a remote server for that image to appear on the forums. It's no longer necessary to go through that extra step.
