I'm on such a roller coaster with this one: the series of teasers that have been rolling out for the last 3 months make Despicable Me look like 3 different movies! I really didn't dig the first teaser with the kid deflating the Pyramid balloon, but the Spy vs Spy one hit all of the cylinders I was hoping to see out of this one. Then there was the most recent trailer focusing on the cheap 3D gags and the trio of sisters. Bland all over again: I wonder which one the final movie will be most like.

Crazy production model too that Chris Meledandri is trying to utilize for his slate of films at Universal.

Feels weird to quote myself, but here's a nice follow-up article to what I was referring to in regards to Universal and Meledandri's 'unique' production model for Despicable Me.

I really want to see this movie it look hilarious but with no money I have no way to see it even when it come out on dvd
