Must see animated short by MAKE of Minneapolis

MAKE is a great studio. The more I see of their work, the more impressed I am with what they do.

Here's a promotional film they created for this year's Palm Springs ShortFest which gets started this coming June 22. It's an outstanding job.

Holy smokes, some of those designs are amongst the most solidly drawn characters I've seen in awhile: I hope they hold up in animation. Really digging the solidity of the design of the detective; there's something particularly neat about how the line of the ear dives straight into his cheekbones.

Let it be said that MAKE has quietly been churning out one the more widely varied bodies of work over the last 2-3 years. Great stuff out of Minnesota!
