A Ninja Tale

Postby Yorb_Boss » Mon Mar 18, 2013 4:26 pm

Hi all, Just finished an animation for university. Had two weeks to complete this in, which included modelling rigging and animating.

Overall I felt it turned out pretty well, I'm not overly competent at modelling characters or creating a decent rig, so that limited the outcome a great deal and my animation was affected by this too.

Anyway, I'd love any feedback you can offer me at all, regards.

To get that much accomplished in just 2 weeks is commendable! That's a lot of work and you did a good job all things considered. I think the timing of your animation on the ninja could be improved here and there. Overall though you did very well in the time you had to complete the work.

Thanks for the feedback Charles as always. Yea I realise a few areas need tightening up, the past two weeks just feel like a total blur.

A comment I have got about it is that I should block out my animation first, is this pretty much some industry-wide advice?

Thanks again

Planning your animation in advance is a good idea. I meant to embed your video. Let's do it now...
