Event: Live-stream "Animation Battle Jam"

Hello hard working animators!

About one week ago, Mikkel Mainz, Kenneth Ladekjær and I sat up a campaign to further develop the student film The Reward into a series called The Reward - Tales of Alethrion

The idea of the animation style in The Reward came up while Kenneth and Mikkel were studying. In their sparetime, they challenged eachother in "Animation Jams" (as they call it), meaning that one of them animated for a couple of hours, hand over the animationfile to the other one who had to respond to this. Two of these jams have been going on in more than a year; A Pokemon duel and a Wizard duel.
Through their ping-pong improvisation jams, they figured out that interesting ideas automatically were made, containing lots of energi and fast forward storytelling elements and they developed their animation skills significant while having fun. All made without any dialog between the two guys.

Through our campaign, we have planned to make an online-streamed live event 18th March, 08:00 PM (New York-time). Here, Kenneth and Mikkel, the two creators of The Reward, will talk about their approach to animation in relation to The Reward while continuing their animation jam. There is going to be a possibility to ask questions through a chat section on the page.
They talk about the event at out campaign, where you can see the animation jams: … sts/426548

I guess this site could be a place to tell animators about the event.

Have a lovely day.

Best regards
