SPOTLIGHT: The Embassy--Even Their WEBSITE Is a Work of Art!

I know you're gonna go there, but you'll have to wait a while to see what you will be able to see here in the five-to-ten seconds it will take this page to load, unless you're still on dial-up.

Ain't that a beauty? The Embassy's website is far and away the most beautiful site I've seen thus far; its reddish background scheme married to a sexy scroll fading in and out the name of the shows along with client names and artist credits, as you go up and down . . .

Off the hook to the power of ten, brah.

By now, everyone has marveled at their share of the Oscar-nominated work for District 9 (this in a year where the VFX in that film was competing against Avatar!) and their Iron Man work, but the good stuff lies in their commercial work.

As in, their Crash show for Mercedes-Benz.

You guys drooling yet? It's okay. Really. I mean, I did.

That last pic is not really an effects shot, just something I threw on here because I felt that as part of the sequence, it made sense. Viewed standalone, it's just another car commercial stat card--which is why you should probably view the spot in its entirety, the way Embassy intended, on their site.

What an absurdly talented group of artists.
