I think Paranorman should have won over Brave. I thought it was a much better film.

I had to stop The Pirates! after watching about 35 minutes because I couldn't get into it at all. I didn't see Frankenweenie. Not sure I will. The overwhelming mediocrity in general is making it not worth the time to find something worth watching. It's becoming more frequent that I stop a film somewhere in the middle. It's nice to temporarily "escape" reality with some good visual entertainment once in a while but it's getting to the point where I'd rather read a book.

Paranorman was dope! Frankenweenie had a really disappointing ending and screw up moral. But hey, people really love zombies...go figure.
