The team at Baboon Animation in New York City has just signed up to write a fun new preschool show out of Sweden. It's a CG animated TV series about rescue vehicles in a small town where everybody gets to be a hero. Naturally it's called "Heroes of the City" and it's aimed at 3 to 7 year olds bringing a positive message that everyone is needed and working together can solve even the most difficult of problems.

Some of the writers at Baboon Animation are Mike de Seve whose clients include Disney, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon as well as being a staff writer at DreamWorks Feature Animation on Shrek 2, Shrek the Third, Madagascar and Monsters vs. Aliens.

There's also Peter Hirsch, Anne Bernstein and P. Kevin Strader.

Baboon Animation has been around for more than two decades ago and has provided Emmy Award winning and Oscar nominated writing, directing and design to the most successful animation studios and networks worldwide. It was founded by Mike de Seve as a directing service service-house for MTV Animation and has since expanded to become one of the most accomplished animation screenwriting teams in the world.

Check out some video from Heroes of the City for an idea as to what we can expect from the writers at Baboon in the future...
