ACME Poster - More Kickstarter $ucce$$

I particularly enjoy reporting on this Kickstarter campaign.

For one thing the initiator of the campaign, Rob Loukotka, is in Chicago, Illinois. Another aspect of it is that it's just a poster. Not a film project or a book or anything like that. Just a poster. Here it is...

Rob watched every Road Runner and Coyote cartoon that Warner Bros ever produced. He then illustrated this poster with every ACME device the Coyote utilized to try and capture the elusive Road Runner.

He started the campaign with a goal of just $3000. With 3 days left he's reached $88,187 through 2,587 backers!

Rob Loukotka rightly claims "Fair Use" in the production of his art and the poster.

As long as there's AnimationNation we will ALWAYS support your crowdfunding campaigns and Kickstarter efforts as best as we can and feature them in a positive light. :)

We have our community and our fans, brothers and sisters. Let's continue to support each other and develop stronger ties with our audience. That's where the love is! :D

Looks like Rob Loukotka is gonna have a good Christmas.

Shooting for $3000 he winds up with 3,042 backers on his poster project racking up $105,083 in pledges / sales.

Not a bad final tally at all! 8-)

I've got a feeling 2013 will be a happy year for many people. ;)

Thank you Kickstarter and crowdfunding sites everywhere!
