SPOTLIGHT: nvizagenvizage's primary specialty is pre-visualization (or all one word, sans dash, if you wish to spell it that way), and they have proved occasion after occasion to be extraordinarily adept at making post-viz as efficient as possible. Pre-viz is a rather standard stage of production nowadays, something Hugh McDonald, along with his partners, predicted upon spinning off nvizage from nvizible. nvizage was spun off of nvizible, a more conventional Soho London post-house Hugh founded with several fellow CG Artists in 2003. As the need arose to have a dedicated operations facility solely for pre-viz, nvizage was born and overfill from nvizible, mainly pre-viz duties, were shuttled off seamlessly to this new company. If the above paragraph seems repetitive and redundant, it's because reading some material on various forums and blogs on nvizible, the sheer level of terror that must've accompanied the challenges Paddy Eason, Hugh and their compositing and pre-viz artists faced (especially on 10,000 B.C.) left me in shock, AND greatly humbled me. Below are stills from some of their pre-viz for Prince of Persia: Last edited by EAllen on Thu Sep 16, 2010 10:28 pm, edited 1 time in total.
